Flight Terms and Conditions Contract
All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to be transported. The individual requesting or arranging for transport certifies that the pet being transported by Pappy Paws Pet Transport is at least 8 weeks of age on or before transport pick-up date. The person signing this form certifies the age of the pet to be at least 8 weeks old. The seller (breeder) and buyer (pet parent) will meet pet handler at the airport at the times specified, and acknowledges pet will be transported via air. No cargo; in-cabin pet only.

All pets must be under 20 lbs. and/or less than 12" tall from top of shoulders to ground to fly in-cabin with a flight nanny.

A valid health certificate issued by a doctor of veterinary medicine is required no sooner than 30 days before the scheduled delivery date. The certificate must travel with the pet. Medical records or vaccine records cannot be used as a substitution.
A current rabies vaccination (administered by a veterinarian at least 21 days before departure) certificate must travel with your pet (for pets over 16 weeks of age). Airlines recommend your pet be fully vaccinated up to their age and have a health check within 10 days before stating they are fit to travel.

A microchip must also be implanted before getting the rabies vaccine as required by the airline.

Your pet will have access to fresh, clean drinking water.
We will not transport any pet that requires a muzzle or other restrictive device. Our handlers reserve the right to refuse transport of any pet that displays signs of aggression.
Payment:

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your pet's transport.

An additional 25% payment is due two days before travel to confirm final arrangements.

The remaining balance (25%) is due upon delivery when your pet is safely dropped off at their furever home.

All transactions incur a 5% processing fee.​

Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, you may reschedule for a later delivery date if needed.

If transport is scheduled within two weeks of the service date, the full transport fee is due at the time of booking.

In order to schedule a transport, the pet must be able to fit in a soft sided carrier not larger than 18″ x 11″ x 11″ (18 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 11 inches tall) and weighing no more than 20 lbs. NO Refund will be permitted of any fees if the pet is denied transport due to non-weight disclosure.

All parties should meet the Pet Nanny in the designated area via group correspondence. Curb side service for picking up or dropping off pets is optional. The typical meeting area in the airport is the Baggage Claim area or the TSA Security checkpoint area, however, this will be discussed and agreed upon at booking.
Pets must be washed and free of odors prior to pick-up. If odor persist handler has the discretion to deny pup due to airline restrictions. You will be charged for the full amount of the transport fee.
All parties involved in the transport process will need to be on time at the airport to drop off or pick up pet. Either party who is more than 15 minutes late after the agreed upon time for the transport will incur a $150 late fee that must be paid BEFORE the pet is received or released.
Scheduling - Pick-up and Delivery. We will provide you with an estimated date for pickup and delivery. While we make every effort to adhere to the schedule you request, unforeseeable circumstances may impact transport dates. These can include weather-related delays, airline schedule changes, oversold flights, or other uncontrollable factors. Additional charges may apply due to flight cancellations, such as, but not limited to rebooking fees or hotel costs.

Other than in cases of neglect on our part, the seller and buyer assume all risks associated with air transport. We cannot be responsible for pre-existing health conditions, whether known or unknown, or delays caused by factors beyond our control.

In rare cases, an overnight stay may be required due to travel disruptions. While we make every effort to avoid this, if an overnight stay is necessary, additional charges may apply to cover lodging, pet care, and related expenses.

If no authorized person is present at the time of transport, or if the required paperwork is incomplete or unavailable at pick-up or delivery, we may have to proceed without your pet. In such cases, you will be charged the full transport fee.

All pictures taken during transport will be posted on Website and Social Media sites for Pappy Paws Pet Transport.

Act of God Clause:
Pappy Paws Pet Transport shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by Acts of God, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, airline cancellations beyond our control, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such delays or disruptions, every effort will be made to reschedule transport at the earliest available opportunity. Any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to rebooking fees, overnight accommodations, pet boarding, or alternative travel arrangements, will be the responsibility of the client. Deposits remain non-refundable, but clients may reschedule transport within a reasonable timeframe.
